Ramadan / March Announcements 2026

Respected Parents,

Assalamu ‘Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatu! 

Eid Mubarak! May this blessed month of Ramadan bring you and your family abundant peace, and prosperity. May Allah (SWT) accept our fasting, prayers, and Ibadah during this blessed month. May Allah(SWT) grant us steadfastness on the path of righteousness, elevate our Imaan, cleanse our sins, and bestow His blessings and mercy upon us (Ameen). Let us also remember to pray for the protection and well-being of our Muslim brothers and sisters around the world as they face difficult times.

Please note the following information about the Eid celebrations and other important community updates:

Daylight Saving – Sunday, March 8, 2026 please adjust the clock one hour forward.

Ramadan/ Eid / Spring Break – Monday, March 9 to Friday March 20, 2026 School is Closed. Return to school on Monday March 23, 2026.

Board Sponsored Iftar:  Please join us for iftar on Sunday, March 15, 2026. 

Math Kangaroo Competition: Date /Time March 19, 2026 – 5:00 pm. – 6:15 pm

Eid Celebration/ Salah: will be held  March 19th / 20th, 2026 (Date To be announced)

Please join us for Eid salah and celebration organized by ICSR Masjid at Darul Arqam School 8 Thomas Street, South River NJ. More information will be provided.

Zakat ul Fitr:

The Zakat ul Fitr amount is $15 per person. If you wish to pay zakat, please use Zelle at icsrmasjid@gmail.com and mention Zakat ul Fitr in the memo. 

Eid Breakfast:

ICSR Masjid is organizing a community breakfast. Your support is greatly appreciated.  Please visit the website www.icsrnj.org Donations can be made via Zelle to  icsrmasjid@gmail.com (Memo: Eid Breakfast).

In School Eid Carnival: (Flyer Attached)

Join us for a fun-filled Eid Carnival on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. Parents and students are welcome to attend. 

In School Eid Celebration/ Party: Monday, March 23, 2026. Students are allowed to Dress down. Please follow all dress down guidelines. Students are required to bring $5.00 for the Eid party. 

English Spelling Bee: (Flyer Attached)

In Class spelling bee will take place from Wednesday  April 8th, – Friday April 10. 2026, the Class word List will be emailed.

Final Competition is scheduled for Thursday,  April 22nd, 2026.
